Department of Economics, Social Studies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics

From August 24 to 28, 2026, the ESOMAS Department will host an immersive Summer School and Conference titled "AI for Economics and Finance" at the Department's headquarters located at Corso Unione Sovietica, 218bis in Turin.

Three days of intensive lectures and workshops designed to equip the participants with a deep dive into two highly complementary frontiers: solving and estimating complex dynamic stochastic models, and leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs) to tackle empirical questions in finance.

Following the Summer School, it is possible to attend a two-day conference that will bring together leading academics, researchers, and practitioners to discuss recent advancements in dynamic stochastic modelling and deep learning.
